Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026  ·  Effective: July 18, 2026

This policy is required by, and limited to, state consumer health data privacy laws: the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373), the Nevada Consumer Health Data Law (NRS 603A.400–603A.550), and the consumer health data provisions of the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 42-515 et seq.). It applies if you are a resident of Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut, or if your consumer health data was collected while you were in one of those states. It supplements, and does not replace, our general Privacy Policy.

1. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Collect, and Why

  • Food, medication, alcohol, exercise, sleep, stress, pH, and supplement logs, and symptoms — used to calculate your personalized mineral depletion estimates and generate food/supplement recommendations.
  • Date of birth, biological sex, height, weight — used as inputs to those same calculations.

2. Categories of Sources

All consumer health data comes directly from you — entered when you register, complete onboarding, or log a daily entry. We do not purchase, license, or receive consumer health data about you from any third party or data broker.

3. Categories of Consumer Health Data We Share, and With Whom

We do not share your consumer health data — your food, medication, alcohol, exercise, sleep, stress, pH, or supplement logs, or symptoms — with any third party or affiliate, except:

  • With our hosting provider, solely to store it (they do not access, use, or analyze it); or
  • If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

We do not sell consumer health data. We do not use geofencing around any health care facility to identify, track, or advertise to consumers. No third party collects your consumer health data over time or across different websites or online services when you use AlkaGuide.

4. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are collecting, sharing, or selling your consumer health data, and access that data.
  • Receive a list of any third parties and affiliates we have shared your consumer health data with, and an active email address or other means to contact each one directly.
  • Withdraw your consent to our collection or sharing of your consumer health data at any time, going forward.
  • Request deletion of your consumer health data.

How to exercise these rights: email privacy@alkaguide.com using the same email address on your account, so we can verify it's you. We will respond within 45 days (extendable once by an additional 45 days for complex or numerous requests, with notice to you of the extension and the reason for it). Requests are free up to twice per year. If you withdraw consent, we will stop collecting or sharing your consumer health data within 15 days.

If we refuse your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email and asking for a review. We will respond to your appeal in writing within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, we will provide you a way to submit a complaint to the Attorney General of your state: Washington, Nevada, or Connecticut.
